Abstract

Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) is a complex endocrine disorder characterized by loss of ovarian activity before the age of 40 years, resulting in infertility and long-term health consequences. Early diagnosis and appropriate management are essential to reduce reproductive and systemic complications. This study aimed to evaluate diagnostic markers and management approaches in women with POI. A comparative observational study was conducted at the Fergana City Perinatal Center involving 24 patients with POI and 24 healthy age-matched controls. Clinical features, hormonal profiles, and ultrasonographic parameters were assessed. Significant differences were observed in gonadotropin levels, estradiol, anti-Müllerian hormone, and ovarian morphology. Early recognition combined with individualized management strategies may substantially improve patient outcomes.
