Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 14-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

The Journal of Clinical and Biomedical Research (JCBR) welcomes high-quality manuscripts from medical doctors, researchers, medical educators, master’s students, and PhD scholars. Authors are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure uniformity, academic integrity, and high publication standards.

1. General Requirements

Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English. The content must be original, with at least 80% originality. All submissions may be screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts must not be under consideration or published elsewhere.

2. Manuscript Formatting

  • Font: Times New Roman
    • Font size: 14 pt
    • Line spacing: 1.15
    • Margins: 2 cm (top, bottom, left, right)
    • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
    • Page numbers: Bottom-center

3. Article Types

JCBR accepts Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Clinical Studies, Case Reports, Short Communications, and Editorials.

4. Manuscript Structure (IMRAD)

Manuscripts should follow the IMRAD structure:

• Title Page: Title, authors’ names, affiliations, corresponding author details
• Abstract: Structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion), 200–250 words
• Keywords: 3–6 keywords
• Introduction
• Methods
• Results
• Discussion
• Conclusion (if applicable)
• Acknowledgements
• Conflict of Interest Statement
• References

5. Ethical Considerations

Studies involving human participants or animals must comply with international ethical standards and include approval from an appropriate ethics committee. Informed consent must be stated where applicable.

6. References

References must be cited accurately. The journal accepts the following reference styles:

• APA (American Psychological Association)
• GOST
• AMA (American Medical Association)
• IEEE

Authors must ensure consistency and correctness throughout the reference list.

7. Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors should ensure that all required metadata are correctly entered during submission.

8. Peer Review

JCBR uses a double-blind peer review process. Authors may be requested to revise manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments. The final decision rests with the editorial board.
