Abstract

Early ovarian insufficiency (EOI) is a gynecological disorder marked by impaired ovarian function in women under 40 years of age, leading to menstrual disturbances and infertility. Early diagnosis is essential to preserve fertility potential and prevent long-term complications. This study evaluated clinical, hormonal, and ultrasonographic markers for the early detection of ovarian insufficiency. A retrospective study was conducted at the Department of Gynecology of the Fergana District Medical Association, including 45 women divided into an EOI group and a control group. Patients with EOI showed significantly elevated follicle-stimulating hormone levels and reduced anti-Müllerian hormone concentrations and antral follicle counts compared with controls (p < 0.001). The findings demonstrate that a combined clinical, endocrine, and imaging approach improves early diagnosis and supports timely and effective management.
